Manual Provisioning

The manual provisioning of the Azure DNS is used predominantly for Hosted Essentials customers including the following actions that are performed by the Service Provider:

Registration of the customer sub domain on the Customer tenant (see Registering Customer Tenant Subdomain).

■

Adding a new record of the Customer Sub domain in the DNS Zone of the Service Provider tenant (seeRegistering Customer Tenant Subdomain).

■

Activation of the domain by activating a M365 user license on the customer tenant (see Activating the Customer Domain).
